Dea Allen Rhineheimer, 92, husband of Ruth Lathery Rhineheimer, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was born on May 23, 1923 in Jessamine County to the late Thomas Henry and Texas Stinnett Rhineheimer. Dea was a retired farmer, a member of the First Christian Church in Lexington and the Young at Hearts Club. He is survived by eight children, Jean Allen Miller, Dea Jefferson (Linda) Rhineheimer, Patricia Howell, Michael (Joyce) Rhineheimer, Donna Kay (Allen) Hager, Susan (Jeff) Rice, Jody (Darrell) Warren and Rebecca Dawn (Eric) Rhineheimer, two brothers, Paris (Lil) Rhineheimer and Russell (Pauline) Rhineheimer, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastors Joe Cooper, Bill Bales and Ronnie Hupp officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Casket Bearers will be Rusty, Owen, Brian, Greg and Tony Rhineheimer and Keith Harvey. Honorary Bearers will be Joe Esenbock Jr., Wayne Fahs, Johnny Fryman, Billy Thompson and Tommy Rhineheimer.
