Debbie Lee Oxendine Collins, 71, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, died Friday, April 5, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Debbie was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on February 9, 1953, to the late Jay Cee Oxendine and Margaret Louise Woriax. She worked for the Jessamine County Board of Education where she was the head bus driver trainer. Survivors include six grandchildren, Austin Lambert, Nicholas Blakeman, Jazmine Blakeman, Isabella Blakeman, Regan Blakeman, and Kiersten Wheeler, and a brother, Jason Oxendine. She was preceded in death by two sons, David Blakeman and Brian Blakeman, and a sister, Michele Woriax. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Austin Lambert, Nicholas Blakeman, Bill Tingle, Ray Stewart, Blake Wheeler, and Shawn O’Brien. The visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, on Monday, April 8, 2024, at the funeral home. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Debbie and her family.
