Debra Lafern Shearer Conyers

Debra LaFern Shearer Conyers, 66, wife of Everett Glenn Conyers for 49 years, passed on to eternity Sunday, April 9, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. She was born November 8, 1950 in Fayette County, KY to the late Virgil Clayton and Devona Kelly Shearer. She was a very involved member of Church of the Savior. Family survivors are a daughter, Connie (Todd) Taylor, a grandchild, Alexis Dawn Taylor, four siblings, Virgil Shearer Jr., Yana (John) Bein, Anna (Darrell) Sexton and Keith Shearer, nieces, nephews and other family members. She was a great inspiration to many with her great faith and love for the Lord. Service will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Rieber and Pastor Steve Pearson officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Bearers will be Chris Sexton, Chad Land, David Wright, Chad Sparks, Jon Sparks, Wesley Hinkle, Matt Coyle and Michael Coyle.
