Delva Mae Ward Stamper

Nicholasville-Delva Mae Ward Stamper, 89, widow of Stanley M. Stamper, of Magnolia Way, died September 12, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Wash and Ella Simpkins Ward. Survivors include her children, Sandy Stamper, Sherry (Dale) Kelly, Sue (Ray) Smith, Vickie (Shawn) Spurlock, Sheila Stamper, Marsha (John) Vest and a step son, , Stanley (Sandy) Davis, fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Parker and a brother William Ward. Services will be 2:00pm Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Barnes. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am-2:00pm Thursday.
