Don L. Benton

Don L. Benton, 81, devoted husband of Norma Jo Bertram Benton and loving father to Sandi (Bryan) Curd and Patti (Mark) Miller and grandson Joseph Miller, passed away on July 24, 2017. In addition to his wife and daughters, he is survived by his sisters, Paula Bertram, Susan (Charles) Moore, and he will be fondly remembered as Uncle Don to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grandon and Esther Crutchfield Benton and brothers, Grandon Parker and William Harold Benton. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. DeWayne Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM Thursday until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brookside Baptist Church in Nicholasville.
