Donald Double D Hurt

Donald E. 'Double D' Hurt, 76, husband of Georgia Hurt, passed away July 6, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 26, 1939 in Jessamine County to the late James and Mary Gladys Bruner Hurt. Donald was a retired truck driver and a member of the New Haven Chapel Church being saved and born again in March of 2013. He is survived by six children, Larry, Danny, Wayne, Diane and David Hurt and Catherine Hurt Frye, three step children Tonya (David) Smith, Michelle Heloin and Sherry Redington, ten grandchildren Deanna Hurt, Brooklyn, Owen and Savannah Frye, Shelby Smith, Brian Hurt, Brooke Redington, Casey Smith, Lainey Smith and Willie Redington. Graveside service will be conducted at 2PM Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Billy Peel officiating. Donations are suggested to the Hospice of the Bluegrass.
