Donald Ray Jasper

Nicholasville-Donald Ray Jasper, 64, a lifelong Jessamine County resident, proud tobacco and cattle farmer, died at his home, February 23, 2014. He was blessed to be the son of a loving mother and father, the late William Woodrow Jasper and Ruth Marie Center Jasper. He is survived by the joy of his life, his children, Jessica Renee Jasper (Jason Hansmann), Justin Ray (Kimberly) Jasper and Logan Nathaniel Cozine, his lifelong girlfriend, Marlene Cozine, brothers, William Earl and Ronnie Jasper, a sister, Joyce Karyl Jasper, he was Papaw to three grandchildren, Alexis Sue Jasper, Justin Ray Jasper II and Aubrey Renee Jasper. Services will be 1:30pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Becknell officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9pm Wednesday and 11:30am-1:30pm Thursday. Bearers will be Phil House, George Scott, John Horne, Ricky Caudill, Johnny Thacker, Robert and Roy Williams, Jeff Reister, Mike Richardson and Bobby Hensley.
