Doreen Fay Abner-Tuttle

Doreen Fay Abner Tuttle, 76, of Ilhardt Avenue, Nicholasville, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky, on October 22, 1945, to the late Nim and Mary Jane Johnson Abner. Doreen worked as an LPN for the Thomson-Hood Veteran Center. She is survived by one daughter, Melanie (Shawn) Hardy, four bonus daughters, Vivian DeCosmo, Sandy McIntosh, Brenda Conley, and Deborah Colton, one sister, Jean (Kenny) Roberts, one granddaughter, Megan Hardy, six bonus grandchildren, Amy Heckerman, Stephanie McKenzie, Bill Erickson, Izabel Heckerman, Annabel Sachs, and David DeWitt. She was preceded in death by eleven siblings. Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 15, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, and family and friends will serve as bearers. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
