Dorothy Duncan Walker, 88, wife of John A. Walker and the late Otis C. Duncan, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was born on August 2, 1926 in Jessamine County to the late Armster Sr. and LeAnna Osborn Bruner. Dorothy was a member of the Bethel Christian Church. She also loved watching her grandchildren play ball and Kentucky basketball. Dorothy is survived by two children, Lowell (Mary Lynn) Duncan and Marty (Albert) Balltrip, three step children, Paula Christopher, Vicki (Eddie) Graham and Jane (Earl) Graham, five grandchildren, William Otis (Tiffany) Duncan, Raymond Lee (Amanda) Duncan, Jeffrey, Jeremy and Tiffany Balltrip, five great grandchildren, Austin Long, William Bryce Duncan, Carter Houp Duncan, Kendyll Faith Duncan, Easton Morris Duncan, two sisters, Martha Freeman and Anna Neal Goldey, one brother, Armster (Betty) Bruner Jr. and other family members. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Compton, Louise Peel and Jewell Walling, five brothers, Carl Bruner, Claude Bruner, Robert P. Bruner, Tommy Bruner and Raleigh Bruner. Services will be Noon Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales and Bro. Bryce McCaulley officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 until 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until Noon at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jeff Balltrip, Jeremy Balltrip, William Duncan, Raymond Duncan, David Gross and Larry Burner.
