Dorothy Marie Bruner Teater, 75, wife of Vernon Rice -Buddy- Teater, died February 9, 2010. She was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and a retired cafeteria manager at Nicholasville Elementary. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Lotella Taylor Bruner. Additional survivors include her children, Vernon Dale (Jane Lynn) Teater, Douglas Alan (Debra) Teater and Lisa Teater (Clyde) Moffett, grandchildren, Jeremy (Arin) Teater, Janie Marie Teater, Adam (Heather) Teater, Joshua Brice (Amanda) Teater, Sarah Lotella Teater, Alicia Danielle Raines and Candace Morgan Littrell, great grandchildren, Charles Lyons -Charlie- Teater and Kinsley Marie Teater, brothers and sisters, Thera Faye Bruner Canter, Ira (Rosemary) Bruner Jr. and B.C. (Sandy) Bruner, a sister in law, Patty Bryant, numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Bryant, a son in law, Danny Raines, a brother in law, Edmond Canter a sister in law and her husband, Ruby and Hysel Rue, two nephews, Gary and Marvin Canter. Services will be Friday, February 12 at 1:30pm at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Harrison. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Thursday and from 9:00am to service time Friday. Bearers will be her granddaughters and Dale, Doug, Jeremy, Adam and Josh Teater, B.C. Bruner and Ira Bruner Jr. Honorary bearers will be her granddaughters and Wayne, Donnie and David Rue, Linda Rue West, Pam, Melissa and Debbie Bryant, Eric, John and Karen Canter, Doug, Lyla and Shannon Bruner, Kim, Jeff and Jennifer Bruner.
