Douglas Lynn Watts, 78, loving husband of Anne Sturgill Watts for 30 years, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY. He was born July 26, 1936 to Welburn and Rella Watts. Doug was a retired journeyman plumber with Plumbers and Pipefitters local 452 and was a Veteran of the US Army. He was a member of New Hope Fellowship Church, enjoyed woodworking and fishing. He leaves to cherish his memories, son James Lynn Watts (wife Lynn), daughter Phyllis Marie Caudill (husband Kenneth), grandchildren, Andrea Watts Fristoe (husband Jeff), Travis James Watts, Mary Caudill Hamner (husband Brian), great grandchildren Jospeh Miles Bauer, Zachary Ryan Hamner, Zoe Rachel Hamner and Zane Ryland Hamner, brothers, Charles Ray Watts (wife Mae), Lester Welch Watts and William Anthony Watts and a special cousin, Bobby Dietrich. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Pamela Faye Caudill Bauer, brother Morris Wayne Watts and sister in law Elizabeth Ann Stipe Watts. Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, from 5-9pm at the New Hope Fellowship Church. Funeral services will be Friday, December 19 at 11am at the Church, officiated by Pastor Ron Riley. Bearers will be James Watts, Andrea Watts, Travis Watts, Jeff Fristoe, Kenneth Caudill and Mary Hamner. Honorary bearers will be Lester Watts, William Watts, Bobby Dietrich, Pastor Richard Stipe, Pastor Jerry Spurlock, James Sexton, Charles Stinnett, Charles Pierce and Garnett Lay.
