Doyle Wayne Sawyers

Doyle Wayne Sawyers, 72, of River Park Drive, Lexington, was pronounced dead on December 5, 2020 at Central Baptist Hospital. He was born on January 20, 1948 to the late Colston Sawyers and Eva Collins Lowry. Doyle Wayne was a longtime resident of Nicholasville, his later years residing in Lexington. He is survived by his longtime companion, Mary Frances Wright, his former wife, B. Janell Sawyers and their children, Sabrina Sawyers, Candida Sawyers, Jeana (Derek) Huffman and Donovan Sawyers all of Nicholasville, John Holder, grandchildren, Victoria Holder, Savanna and Dawson Huffman. Mary’s children, James Lowry, grandson Gavin Lowry, Ann Nickolas and her five children. Additional survivors include several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Private Services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplain DeWayne Brewer officiating.
