Earl Alexander Duncan

Earl Alexander Duncan, 55, husband of Laison Elizabeth Neal Duncan, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at his home on Cameron Drive, Nicholasville. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky, on February 2, 1969, to Bessie Duncan Johnson and the late Howard Black. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Laison; mother, Bessie; sons, Robert Neal (wife Satchel Shoats) and Earl Alexander Duncan Jr.; daughters, Ashley Neal, Lexi Neal, Kiley Neal, and Kinsley Neal; brother, Aaron Ruffin, Mike Penman (wife Lakeisha), and Lucian Penman (wife Pam); sisters, Kadjia Richards and Calverta Cornett (husband Donald); as well as one grandchild on the way. Additional survivors include nephews, Eric Duncan (wife, Kristen), Rico Duncan (wife Erika), Dominic Penman, Ace Taylor, Jatavion Taylor and Taylor Penman; nieces, Jeri Duncan (wife, Kiara) and Erin Duncan; great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Duncan II, Kaydence Duncan, Eliana Duncan, Audriella Duncan, Legacy Duncan, and La’Ryah Duncan, and a host of cousins; He is preceded by his father, Howard, and a son, Brandon Neal, a brother, Pete Penman, and a nephew, Owen Duncan. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, at Betts & West Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
