Nicholasville-Edeltraut E. Conner, 89, widow of Archie Wynehart Conner to whom she had been mairied to for 36 years, having been married June 22, 1956, formerly of Mackey Pike and Keenway Drive, died November 29, 2009. She was born October 9, 1920 in Germany, daughter of Johann and Emilie Wakeuhut Hartkorn. She was a Holocaust survivor fleeing with her mother to the United States and later becoming a U.S. citizen. She was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church and enjoyed roses and her friends through the years. Survivors include a step son, G.L. Conner-WI, a sister, Theresa Krueguer-MI, several nieces and nephews, her care givers, Erin Thompson, Regina Ross and Debbie Rainwater and a close companion, Lisa M. Currey. Services were held 10:30am Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bernice Walker and Elder Clem Walker officiating. Visitation was held 5-7pm Tuesday.
