Edith C. Hughes

Nicholasville-Edith C. Hughes, 83, widow of Lewis C. Hughes, of East Oak Street, died unexpectedly at her home November 3, 2007. She was born April 2, 1924, daughter of the late William T. and Zeffie C. Motley Stinnett. Survivors include a sister, Mable S. Masters-Nicholasville, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Corbett Stinnett and a sister, Anna Mae Stinnett. Services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, November 6, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. James Humphrey. Visitation will be 6-9pm Monday. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be James, Robert and Larry Stinnett, John Sherrow, Virgil Masters and Robert Durham.
