Edna Burton Davis

Nicholasville-Edna Mae Burton Davis, 84, widower of her husband of 59 years, Edward L. Davis, died June 21, 2008. She was a member of Jessamine Christian Church. She was born July 23, 1923, daughter of the late Lee and Lillie Farris Burton. Survivors include a son, Johnny Lee (Sharon) Davis, a daughter, Sandra Royalty, a granddaughter, Shannon (Michael) Walton, great grandchildren, Corey, Cayden and Sydney Walton, sisters, Julia Derosett and Lillian Carr, her extended family, Lauren Plute, Ashley, Carrie, Whitney, John and Sharon Johnson. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Porter, Roy and Huston Burton. Services will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Hunt officiating.
