Edward Leon "Gabby" Drury

Edward Leon -Gabby- Drury, 75, , husband of Edith Pearl Drury, of Rainbow Drive, died Friday, November 19, 2010. He was the son of the late George and Hannah McGohon Drury. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Additional survivors include four children, Martha (Herbert) Caudill, Charlotte (Leland) Stevens, Roger (Joan) Drury and Tony (Emily) Drury, all of Jessamine Co., eleven grandchildren, Dana Reed, Timmy (Lynn) Reed, Teresa (Tommy) Garrison, Kimberly, Mary and Marshall (Jennifer) Caudill, Frank and Brian (Terri) Anderson, Todd and Derrick Drury, Tina Barnes, Donnie Ray West, Jamie (John) Oliver, nineteen great grandchildren, brothers and sisters Joyce (Charles) Eades, Gay (Robert) Powers, Jane (Joe) Peel, Minnie Curtsinger, Howard (Betty) Drury, Curtis (Mary) Drury and his dog Bella. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Roger Drury and a sister, Ruby Metcalf. Services will be 11:00am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Sunday. Bearers will be Tim and Dana Reed, Todd Drury, Frank Anderson, Jarrod and Tommy Garrison. Honorary bearers will be Vernon Steagall, Cecil Hall, Donnie McCulley, Clay Tankersley, John Cassell, Jay Stafford and Chuck Adams. Donations are suggested to Lighthouse Baptist Church.
