Eldon 'Buddy' Gill, 67, husband of Vickie Lynn Locker Gill, passed Sunday, October 4, 2014. He was born September 12, 1948 in Jessamine County to the late Charlie and Fannie Bell Bond Gill. Buddy liked to spend time with family, garden, hunt and collect knives. Family survivors are three sons, James (Tammy) Gill, Mike (Laura) Gill and Tommy (Delanna) Gill, grandchildren, James, Brandon, Lena, Dustin, Marissa, Tyler, Zack, Kayli, Keily, Rachael and Dillon, great grandchildren, Gabriel, Rileigh, Wesley, Brook, Jackson and Carter, three sisters, Annabell Bruner, Opal Dyer and Judy Florin, several nieces and nephews and other family members. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Catherine Gill and Frances Hager and two brothers, Charles 'Red' Gill and Sammy Gill. Services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Grandsons and Andy Williams. Honorary Bearers will be Granddaughters, Danny and Debbie Williams, Fannie Mae Turner and Willie and Johnetta Odgen. Contributions suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
