Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Jenkins, 92, of Lexington, Kentucky, wife of James R. Jenkins, passed away, on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Carter County, Kentucky on June 5, 1931, to the late Milton McClung and the late Letha James McClung. Betty was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Mark R. Jenkins (Lisa) and David M. Jenkins (Joy), her grandchildren, Aeriel Horine (Shaun), Sierra Jenkins, Richard Tanner Jenkins, Jared Jenkins, and Kenneth Jenkins, 3 great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Jenkins, Bodhi Jenkins and Ronan Jenkins, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Holmes. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy McClung. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Family and Friends will serve as bearers.
