Erma Dean Hayes Adams

Erma Dean Hayes Adams, 73, wife of Stanley Gordon Adams of 51 years, died Thursday, October 3, 2013. She was born June 10, 1940 in Hindman, KY to the late George and Marie Gayheart Hayes. Erma was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished taking care of her family. She was a homemaker, a member of Nicholasville Baptist Church and an avid reader. Family survivors include her three children, Paul Gordon (Anna) Adams, Deanna Robyn Adams, and Tammy Lynn Adams; four grandchildren, Matthew Parker Adams, Hannah Cassandra Wells, Dawn Sydney Burgan, and Jared Alexander Adams; three siblings, Dorothy (Gene) Morris, Shelby (Larry) Amburgey, and Gramby (Marie) Hayes and a host of additional family members. Services will be 11:00 am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Contributions suggested to KY Children's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital.
