Ernest "Buddy" Morris, Jr.

Ernest “Buddy” Morris, Jr., 67, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at the Willows at Harrodsburg. He was born on June 8, 1956, to the late Ernest Morris and Dorothy Bottoms Morris. Buddy spent much of his life helping family and friends when times became tough for them. He is survived by his brother, Bobby Kerns; sister, Pat Hurt; nephew, Bobby (Melissa) Kerns; as well as several other family members and friends to mourn his passing. He is preceded by sisters, Mary Jane MacKenzie, Zella Lyons, and Debbie Hartley. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 7, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Larry Camic officiating. Burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
