Ernie Leon "Lonnie" Hale

Ernie Leon 'Lonnie' Hale, 60, died at his home Saturday, August 24, 2013. He was born March 27, 1953 in Danville, KY to the late Gilbert Lee and Dolly Maria Baxter Hale. He was a retired City of Nicholasville Employee. Lonnie loved to work and sit at the liar's table at the Cottage Caf-. Survivors are two children, Wanda (Stacy) Elliott, Joshua (Katie) Hale, one grandson, Trevor Leon Elliott, a sister, Chelsea (Tommy) Wade and other family members. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Jerry, Wayne, Jackie Lee, Randell Bruce and Danny Dale Hale. Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Betts & West with Rev. Billy Peel officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Tommy Wade, Herbert Caudill, Ricky Hale, Jason Hubbard, Stacy Elliott and Earl Stone. Honorary Bearers will be Trevor Elliott, Michael Shane and Joshua Hale and Mason Blackford.
