Ethel Mae Tipton Wiggs, 90, widow of Stanley R. Wiggs, died Monday August 28, 2017. She was born in Jessamine County on November 18, 1926 to Arthur and Josephine McGohon Tipton. Ethel was a member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and was retired from Tacoco, Wilmore, KY. Survivors include her four children Billy (Kathy) Wiggs, Bessie Jo (David) Irvin, Stanley R. (Sharon) Wiggs, and Lisa Mae Lamb, six grandchildren, Billy (Minnie) Wiggs, Angela (Tommy) Stokes, Deborah (Scott) Sanderson, Sammy (Kim) Grimes, Stacy Lynn (Mark) Chandler, and Raegan M. Lamb, 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister Sue Ann Wiggs. Pallbearers will be Mark Chandler, Chuck Smith, David Irvin, Tommy Wiggs, Ronnie Horton, and Ricky Blackford. Honorary Pallbearer will be Arzie Byrd. Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM, Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
