Evelyn Frances Land Tudor, 79, widow of Calvin Coolidge Tudor, died Friday, November 24, 2023, at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born on March 29, 1944, in Lexington, Kentucky to the late James P. Land and the late Celia Sue Hobbs Land. Evelyn was a homemaker and member of Logana Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Lynn Butler (Timothy Ball), stepdaughter Paula Houp grandchildren, Eric Butler, Andrew Butler, Chris Pittman, and Angie Thornton, and eight great-grandchildren, brothers, Lawrence (Joyce) Land, Ray (Libby) Land, sisters, Debbie Hunt, Judy Reynolds, Brenda Horton, and Betsey (Lee) Bain. she is also survived by her longtime boyfriend Donnie Houp. She was preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth Lee Pittman, Dewey Edward Pittman, and Allen Pittman, three brothers, and one great-grandson. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Rev. David Marsee, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM on Wednesday. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be David Whittle, Timothy Ball, Eric Butler, Chris Pittman, Malik Thornton, and Michael Land.
