Forrest Larue Moore

Forrest LaRue Moore, 80, husband of Ola Marion Moore, passed Wednesday, September 06, 2017. He was born August 13, 1937 in Lexington, KY to the late Cleveland and Margaret Vogler Moore. Forrest was a retired self employed owner of Moore Office Machines. He was a member of Gardenside Christian Church, former member of Southland Christian Church and Jessamine Christian Church. He was in the National Guard before joining the Air Force. Also a member of American Legions Post 680. Forrest liked to fish, garden and work on cars. Survivors are two children, Forrest Wayne Moore, Laura LaRue (Jeff) Sellers, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four siblings and other family members. He was also preceded in death by six siblings. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rick Burdette and Charles Delaney officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 until time of service. Bearers will be family and friends.
