Frank T. Conyers, 70, husband of Loretta Davis Conyers, of Hickory Hill, died May 14, 2008 after a brief illness. He was an employee of the Jessamine County Board of Education from 1970 until 2008, serving as a teacher, administrator and assistant and head football coach, before serving in Jessamine Co. he coached football for the West Clairmont School District in Amila, OH. Frank was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and was active in raising and showing American Saddlebred horses. Frank was born October 8, 1937, a native of Carlisle and son of the late John Henry and Mary Elizabeth Thomas Conyers. Additional survivors include two children, Brett (Glenda) Conyers, and Melanie (Ernie) Peterson, grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth and Jessica Peterson, special nieces, Sydney and Mia, sister in law, Lila (Grady) Clark and a brother in law, Don Davis. He was also preceded in death by a special aunt, Susan Conyers. Services will be 8:00pm Friday at West Jessamine High School Gymnasium with Rev. Steve Sholar officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Friday at the High School. Burial will take place at 11:00am Saturday in the Maple Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jim Harrison officiating.
