Frank Wilson, 84, was dispatched by Jesus for his final run on Friday, December 19, 2008. He was born August 2, 1924 in Jessamine county to the late Claude -Taught- and Ozena Bradley Wilson. Frank was a retired truck driver, member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church, Teamsters Union 651 and was an Army Staff Sergeant serving in WWII. Beloved father of four children, Phil B.(Kathy) Wilson-Mt. Sterling, Linda C. (Rusty) Rodgers-High Bridge, Brenda G. Walker-Frankfort and Olena A. (Sandy) Redmon-Nonesuch. Other survivors are eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, special loved ones on Roosevelt Unit at Thompson Hood Veterans Center and other family members and friends. Services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Latimer and Rev. David Duggan officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Harold Walker II, Richard Rodgers, Jonathan and Kenny Vanover, Jeff Biles and Eric Sexton.
