Freda Ruth Scott

Freda Ruth Scott, 52, wife of Dan Wesley Scott of Harrodsburg Road, died December 8, 2009 at her home. She was a member of the New Hope Fellowship Church. She was the daughter of the late Hughie and Opal Mae Sanders Cheek. Additional survivors include a daughter, Sondra Lynn (Justin) Dyer-Nicholasville, grandchildren, Alyssa Danielle Dyer, Brendan Andrew Dyer, Alayna Destiny Hooten and Lily Nicole Bailey, a brother, Delton Cheek, sisters Linda Wilson and Mary Page. Services will be 1:00pm Friday at New Hope Fellowship Church with Bro. Ron Riley officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home and 5-8pm Thursday at New Hope Fellowship Church. Bearers will be Daniel, David, Timmy and Keith Page, D.J. and Curtis Cheek and Justin Dyer. Honorary bearers will be Geary Scott and Ricky Wolfinbarger.
