Gary Lee Osten

Gary Lee Osten, 61, husband of Brenda Carol Howard Osten, died Sunday, November 11, 2007. He was born October 14, 1946 in Lexington to the late Ralph and Bernice Parks Osten. He was a meat cutter currently employed by Wal-Mart in Lexington but had worked in many stores in the Lexington area. Additional survivors are a daughter, Cheryl (James) Halderman-Cynthiana, two grandchildren, Sarah and Michelle Halderman-Cynthiana, three brothers, Earl (Barbara) Osten-Wilmore, Ralph (Jean) Osten-Frankfort, David Osten-Frankfort, special grandmother, Lucille Bearden-Nicholasville and other family members. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 until 9 at the funeral home Bearers will be Danny Barnes, John Halderman, Mike Howard, Virgil Burton, Ricky Vires and Daniel Eades.
