Gary Louis Fonseca

Gary Louis Fonseca, 82, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born June 3, 1935 in Cambridge, Mass., he was the son of the late Maneul Fonseca and Agnes Victoria (Larkin) Fonseca. After his service in the US Army during the Korean War he worked as a automobile consultant and was self-employed. He conducted business with several local car dealerships such as Freedom Dodge, Paul Miller Ford, and his most recent at Tri-City Auto. He had been a resident of Kentucky since 1985 and a devout Catholic. Mr. Fonseca is survived by two daughters,Kathryn E Cuzick (Dave R), Mary F Ord (Rich), and six granddaughters, Melinda Burgess, Rebecca Murphy (Troy), Brittany Brandon, Alexandra K. Stai ( Taylor), Anna Ord, and Elizabeth Ord. He also had 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service, Friday at 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery on US 27 in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
