Gary Thomas Beckley

Gary Thomas Beckley, 57, died Friday, May 14, 2010. Gary was born June 6, 1952 in Woodford County to Beula Prather Beckley of Nicholasville and the late Lee Thomas -Tom- Beckley. He was a member of the Contemporary Long Rifle Association and the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. He is also survived by the love of his life for 21 years, Cindy D. Minor of Lexington, three children Cody (Leslie) Smith of Texas, Nicole Marie (Alfred) Beckley and Stephanie Lynn (Jeff) Chandler of Florida, six grandchildren, Tyler Ann Smith of North Carolina, Zoey Afton Smith of Texas, Cassidee Faith Russo, Taylor Ryan Oliver, Dalton Jeffrey and Tanner Stephen Chandler of Florida, a sister, Ruby Beckley (Joe) Waits of Wilmore, a sister in law, Joyce Beckley, other family members and his dog, Delbert. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee Beckley Jr.. Services will be 9:30 am Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be Mike Prather, Allan Tucker, David Beckley, Ronnie Bottoms Jr., Tim Waits and Chris Breeden.
