Gary W. Lynam, 71, husband of Debra Sue Songer Lynam, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Gary was born to the late Leo and Francis Waugh Lynam, in Paris, Kentucky, on September 5, 1947. He was an automobile salesman, and also served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the USMC. Gary received several awards; the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon. He is survived by his son, Michael Lynam, daughter Monica Wallace, step-son Chris Woolery, step-daughter Sonya Woolery, brother Leo Lynam, Jr (Karen), sisters Mary Elizabeth Gabbard and Sally Lynam, 3 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren. Services will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Betts and West Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
