Gayle Brock Lawrence

Gayle Brock Lawrence, widow of Carolyn Peniston Lawrence, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born May 19, 1931 in Bourbon County, Kentucky to the late Jerome and Rosalie Wiley Lawrence. He was a member of Wilmore United Methodist Church and a retired Aerospace Engineer who worked for NASA and GE, Pratt & Whitney and a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Lawrence and two grandchildren, Rachel Lawrence and Sarah Bradley. Services will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Wilmore United Methodist Church Clark Chapel with Pastor D. and Pastor Wayne Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be 5-8:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Betts & West Funeral Home and Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church.
