Nicholasville-Geneva Brown Peel, 82, widow of Wilbert -Shorty- Peel, of East Maple Street, went to be with the Lord on Monday August 18, 2008. She was a devoted wife and mother who maintained a loving and warm home for her family. She was the daughter of the late William Lee and Marie Seals Brown. She is survived by her loving children, Carl Lee (Pansy) Peel-Lexington, James Aurthur (Rilda) Peel-Nicholasville, Marlene (Roy) Peel-Nicholasville, Darlene (Mike) Cuzick-Nicholasville, Nora Rose (Steve) Brock-Richmond, grandchildren, David Lee (Diane) Peel-Nicholasville, Carl Alan -Buck- (Michele) Peel-Lex., Michael Dean (Gina) Peel-Bath Co., Kathrine R. (Brian) Gunn-Wilmore, Michael C. Cuzick-Nich., Tasha and Cerria Brock-Richmond, Geneva (Sonny) Strevels-Jess. Co. and David (Angela) Butler, fourteen great grandchildren, brothers, Wilburn and Fred Brown-both of Richmond, sisters Merlyn (William) Cheek-Wilmore and Rosie (Paul) Hazen-New Albany, IN, a very special friend Paulette and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:30pm Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9pm today and from 10am-1:30pm Thursday. Bearers will be Darell Brown, David Lee Peel, Carl Allen -Buck- Peel, Michael Clinton Cuzick, Michael L.
