George Braden

George Braden, 79, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Frankfort, Kentucky. He was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, on January 31, 1945, to the late Frank Braden and Boots Poor Braden. George was a retired teacher, having taught at Jessamine County Schools for many years. He was an avid farmer and enjoyed tractors and horses. He is survived by his cousins, Charles Hahn and Curtis Poor, as well as numerous other family members. Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 2, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Wilmore Cemetery, where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve George and his family in their time of need.
