George Mccauley Marlow, Jr.

George McCauley Marlow, Jr., 79, husband of Brenda Stanley Marlow, passed away on Tuesday morning, June 11, 2024, at his home on McGee Lane in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born on August 7, 1944, in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late George McCauley Marlow and Helena Belle McCuddy Fredrick. George loved collecting guns and knives, driving motorcycles, riding horses, and playing music. He was a truck driver who worked for Clay Corman for many years and was a member of the National Guard. In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Nikisha “Niki” Dawn Locknane, and her husband, Jonathan; two grandchildren, Brook Taylor Locknane and Beau Hunter Locknane; and a sister, Sandie Hammond. Before his marriage to Brenda, he was widowed by Freida Lynn Guy Marlow. Services to celebrate his life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales and John Carroll officiating. The visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
