Gertrude Dovie Troxtel

Gertrude D. Troxtel, 91, widow of Emery Troxtel passed away April 7, 2015. She was born on August 19, 1923 in Wayne County to the late Costello and Maude Cox Bell. She was a member of the Nicholasville Baptist Church. Gertrude is survived by one sister Savannah E. Lee. She is also preceded in death by one son Ralph Edward Troxtel, four brothers Marion, Henry, Claude and Arthur Bell and two sisters Mary Criswell and Louise Woody Maxwell. Graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 PM Monday April 13, 2015 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Pastor Dwayne Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11AM to 1PM Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Casket Bearers will be J.R. Woody, Cotton Tillman, Emery K. Bell, Norman Lee Messer Jr., David Cheek and Danny Bell. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Alvin Woody Sr. and Robert Horn.
