Glenn Wilson, 90, husband of Anna Francis Wilson, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore. He was born in Jessamine County on April 15, 1933, to the late Cornelius Wilson and Katherine Benton Wilson. Glenn worked as a budget analyst for IBM and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Anna; sons, Mark Todd Wilson (Holly), and Matthew Alan Wilson; daughter, Michelle Phillips (Orlando); brother, Fred Wilson (Bonnie); and grandchildren, Skyler Reisig, Ashleigh Teater, and Kelcie Teater. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by eight siblings, Gladys Tootsie Peel, Mary Long, Ruth Walker, Russell Wilson, Audrey Wilson, Virgil Wilson, Cornelius Wilson Jr., and Carl Wilson. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 12, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Lakes officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Orlando Phillips, Mark Wilson, Matthew Wilson, David Wilhite, Jeffrey Reisig, and Leroy Tate. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home. Betts & West is honored to serve the Wilson family in their time of need.
