Harold Gray Phipps

Harold Gray Phipps, 60, widower of Brenda K. Cuzick Phipps, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012. He was a retired delivery driver for Advanced Auto Parts. He was born June 8, 1951 in West Liberty to Rilda Lee Smith Phipps of Paris and the late Lester Kenneth Phipps. Family survivors three children, Kristie (Billy) Barnett, Misty (Charlie) Feltner and Samantha (Daniel) Phipps, all of Nicholasville, six grandchildren, Harold, Jossie, Karie, Triston, Roy and Jaxson, one great grandchild, Kaylee, two sisters, Brenda (Stanley) Halcomb of Nicholasville, Sandra (Gary) Bridgewater of Paris, five brothers, Kenneth Phipps of Paris, Hudson (Linda) Phipps of Lexington, Frank (Marilyn) Phipps of Lexington, Hager (Patricia) Phipps of Paris and Benjamin (Barbara) Phipps of Paris. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Lester Phipps and three sisters, Darlene Phipps Kirk, Patricia Berniece Phipps and Ethel Faye Phipps. Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2012 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Bearers will be Ronnie, Lester and Harold Barnett, Triston Phipps, Gary Blair and Ricky Cuzick.
