Harriet Pearl Sharp Whitaker

Harriett Pearl Sharp Whitaker, 102, widow of Virgil May Whitaker, died Monday. She was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Holiness Church. Survivors are six children, Virgie Hager of Lexington, Doris Adams and Mary Lyle Cartwright of Nicholasville, Victor Whitaker of Highbridge, Ray (Pat) Whitaker and Jimmy Whitaker of Nicholasville, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family members. Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jerry Hubbard, John Hager, Henry Brown, Tommy Long, Mason Howard and Elwood Hager.
