Henry Frederick Vence

Henry Frederick Vence, 80, husband of Mary Jo Vence, widower of Ruth Garrett Vence, formerly of Nicholasville, died January 21, 2010. He was a retired fireman serving in Elizabeth NJ and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Additional survivors include his children, Henry Lee Vence, Daniel Garrett (Jolyn) Vence, Karin Joy (Frank) Rumbauskas and David Paul Vence, grandchildren, Rachel Joy Valera, Danielle Grace Vence, David Lee Vence, Daniel and Lauren Rumbauskas, a brother, Stephen Vence, two sisters Phyllis Clinebell and Doris Murray-Kreis. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy John Vence. Services were 12:30pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation was from 10:30am until service time on Monday. Donations are suggested to the Trinity Life Center of Lexington or True Gospel Tabernacle of Nicholasville.
