Herbert Bertram Bivens

Herbert Bertram Bivens, 87, husband of Diana Sue Bailey Bivens, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014. He was born March 31, 1927 in Charters, KY to the late Ernest Earl and Pansey P. Carrington Bivens. Herbert was a mechanic, attended the Independent Church of God in Lexington, KY and liked to play music on his guitar. Family survivors are two children, Janet Raley, Darrel (Cheryl) Bivens, three grandchildren, Laura Monnett, Stefanie and Amy Lemaster, two step grandchildren, Dawson and Hayden Doolin, six grandchildren, Dylan and Madilyn Monnett, Arianna and Michelle Lemaster, Isaac and Aaron Moss, a sister, Virginia Gilbert, a brother Max Bivens and other family members. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Bivens. Graveside service will be 12:30 Monday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. James Hicks officiating.
