Herman Jean Brandenburg, 93, died Friday, August 3, 2018. He was born on November 2, 1924 in Keene, Kentucky to the late Payton and Hattie Webster Brandenburg. Jean graduated from Wilmore High School and was an Army World War II veteran. He was a former Wilmore City Judge, barber and business man in Wilmore for many years. He is survived by a daughter Leesa Lynn and her husband Lawrence Riley, two grandchildren, Taran Elizabeth and her husband Brian Collier, Shelby and his wife Shilah Riley, great grandchildren William “Jude”, Emerson Rylee and Henry Knox Collier and Emmett Jackson Calvin Riley, two step great grandchildren Amelia and McKinzie Pile whom she loved dearly. He is also survived by sisters, Hilda Goodlett and Colleen Brandenburg, Wilmore, KY and Phyllis Brandenburg, Elizabethtown, KY. He was preceded in death by a precious great grandbaby, Deacon Quinn Collier and a sister, Marcella Roberts. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Dragomir officiating. Bearers will be Lawrence Riley, Shelby Riley, Brian Collier, Clay Tankersley, Mike Goodlett and Charlie Woodward. Entombment will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
