Hilda Goodlett, age 93, a long-time resident of Wilmore, Kentucky, passed to be with the Lord peacefully at her home on September 14, 2022.
She was the loving wife of George Goodlett and devoted mother of Michael Goodlett, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Payton and Hattie Brandenburg of Wilmore; her brother, H. Jean Brandenburg of Wilmore; and her sisters, Marcella Brandenburg Roberts of Dayton, Ohio, and B. Colleen Brandenburg of Wilmore. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Brandenburg, of Wilmore; and nieces, Brenda Roberts (Charles, dec.) Humfleet of Dayton, Ohio, Pamela Roberts (John) Kaiser of Dunkirk, Maryland, and Leesa Brandenburg (Lawrence) Riley of Wilmore; as well her nieces’ children and grandchildren.
She graduated from Wilmore High School, worked at the Wilmore Bank, retired from Farmers Bank of Wilmore and was a long-time and faithful member of Mt. Freedom Baptist Church. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all her friends and family.
