Hobert Houp

Hobert Houp, 76, husband of Norma Jean Houp passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born on May 1, 1939 in High Bridge to the late Henry and Mary Jane Estes Houp. Hobert was retired from the Nicholasville Housing Authority and was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He is survived by three children Michael (Melissa) Houp, James Earl (Teresa) Burge and Lisa Ann (Delmas) Hall, nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three siblings, Effie Stinnett, Martha Woosley and Virgil Houp. Hobert was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM Friday, September 18, 2015 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Rawlings officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
