Horace Eugene Patterson Sr.

Horace Eugene Patterson Sr., 85, died Monday, March 3, 2014. He was born August 7, 1928 in Woodford County, KY to the late Hansford J. and Anna Bell Coyle Patterson. He was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church, an Army Veteran and loved to bowl and fish. Family survivors are two sons, Eugene (Joetta) Patterson Jr., Stefan (Deann) Patterson, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, three sisters, Jessie Lee Nichols, Marjorie Powers, Carolyn Wills, three brothers, Carl, Kenneth and Roger Patterson and other family members. He was also preceded in death by two children, Jennifer and Anna Frances Patterson and a sister Shirley Osborn. Services will be 2:30 pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Buntain officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
