Jabe Smith

Nicholasville-Jabe Smith, 49, of Rebel Road, died Aug. 6, 2009. He was the son of Hannah Powers Grubbs and the late Camel Smith. Additional survivors include a son, William Michael Jabe Smith, two sisters, Christina Peel and Lena Lay, three brothers, Shorty, Beechel and Cecil Smith, a special niece and nephew, Gena Lay and Daryl Sluscher, many other family members. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Gracie Smith, Ollie Dotson, Luther and Abe Smith. Services will be Noon Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Betts & West Funeral Home.
