Jackie Harris Corman, 79, widower of Linda Clyde Corman passed away January 26, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington. He was born on August 17, 1936 in Jessamine County to the late Andrew and Edna Upton Corman. Jackie was a retired commercial electrician and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Jackie also proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1959. He is survived by one son Hank (Patricia) Corman, one daughter Tonda (James) Talcott, seven grandchildren, Scott Phillips, Jennifer Corman, Jessica Wilkinson, Jeffery Corman, Jaclyn Mullett, Austin Corman and Tyler East, two great grandchildren Rylan McPherson and Dallas Wayne Dixon and one brother Billy (Jean) Corman. Jackie was also preceded in death by one son Jeffery Corman, two brothers Jim and Andy Corman and one sister Judy Webb. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00PM Monday, February 1, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Basil Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11-1 on Monday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Jeffery Corman, Austin Corman, Tyler East, Peter Wilkinson, Dale Fryman and Jim Cook.
