James Bub Vickers

James 'Bub' Vickers, 75, passed away April 24, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on November 3, 1940 in Nicholasville to the late Earl and Mildred Canter Vickers. James is survived by three sons Jimmy (Leslie) Vickers, Grant (Stephanie) Vickers and Clifton Vickers, two daughters Deidra (Ricky) Jenkins and Janie (Brian) Smith, eight grandchildren, one sister Melvina (Eddie) Brown and one sister in law Jody Hubbard Vickers. James was preceded in death by one brother Charles Vickers and one sister Nancy Sams. Funeral service will be conducted at 11AM Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested toward funeral expenses.
