Nicholasville-James D. -Jim- Jarvis, 61, husband of 37 years to Pamela Jarvis, of Hawthorne Drive, died December 6, 2007 after a brief illness. He was an employee of CMC Inc., veteran of the U.S. Marines and member of the Masonic Lodge. He was born August 13, 1946, son of the late Street and Hildreth Jarvis. Additional survivors include his son, Trever Jarvis and his fianc-e, Alba Campobasso, his daughter, Kellie Watts and her husband Jeff, he was the proud grandfather of three grandsons, Corey, Cameron and Caleb, a brother, Clifford Jarvis-FL and a sister Sandra Adkinson-FL, a mother in law, Dorothy Long, sister and brother in law, Paula and Gary Hildestad-OK, a special niece and nephew, Casey and Brieann Hildestad-OK, a nephew, Mark (Leslie)Adkinson and his son, Leslie and Hunter-Paducah. Services will be 12:30 Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3-9pm Sunday. Burial will be in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Masonic services will take place at 5:00pm Sunday. Family members will serve as bearers. Honorary bearers will be his good friend and employer, Clay Corman, employees of CMC, Inc., his morning coffee friends, Molly and Barney Hunter (who he admired and loved). Special thanks to Dr. Rachel Harper, Karen Mulholland and the staff at the John D. Cronin Cancer Center, all the nurses on the 6th floor at St. Joesph Hospital, especially Wanda, Carrie and Jeanna.
